  Had my Amarok recovered there for an EGR valve replacement. Took nearly a week to diagnose and replace before I got it back. A few months later I was under the doctor for a bad chest, and also noticed lots of smoke from the engine bay. After a local garage having a quock look i was advised to take it straight back as the EGR valve was leaking. After speaking to VW customer service and following their advice it was taken to an alternative main VW dealer who diagnosed that the EGR valve had been fitted incorrectly, it was loose and had retaining bolt missing. Even though it was 'genuine VW parts' fitted by a genuine 'VWcommericial dealer' I had to pay extra to get the parts replaced and fitted again correctly. VW customer service assured me I would recieve the money back and compensation....... Still waiting. Do not trust this dealership - Service Manager (John I think his name is) does believe the customer should worship him like a God. He has an awful arttitude - Run a service department...... He would struggle to run a bath!
